MDHA Accepting HCV Applications September 13-19, 2017

MDHA will accept online only applications for Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV)
beginning at 12:00 noon on Wednesday September 13 and ending at 3 p.m. on Tuesday
September 19.

The HCV waiting list is NOT on a first-come, first-served basis, so as long as you apply
during the waiting list period, you have an equal chance of being placed near the top of
the waiting list.

Applications will be accepted online only at www.nashville-mdha.org. (click on the button that
says Apply for Housing). The application link will not be available until 12:00 noon on
September 13, 2017. Applications can be submitted online 24 hours a day during the waiting
list period. Applying online is convenient, fast and you’ll be notified by e-mail when your
application has been received. In order to apply online, you will need to register a user ID
and password. You must also have a valid e-mail address.

Anyone needing access to a computer with internet service may visit a public library.
Anyone needing assistance in completing an online application may stop by the Randee
Rogers Training Center (RRTC) at 1419 Rosa L. Parks Blvd, Nashville, TN 37208 between
8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 14 and Friday, September 15. The RRTC will
not be available on any other day and there will be no computers or staff available to
assist at our 620 Dew St. office.

Again, each applicant’s position on the waiting list is NOT on a first-come, first-served
basis. It’s NOT necessary to stand in line or rush in on the first day to be the first to
submit your application. The date and time you submit your application will not affect
your position on the waiting list. More information on how the application process
works will be available when you complete your application.
