Julie Watson Lampley to Chair 2017 LAS Fundraising Campaign

NASHVILLE, Tennessee, Oct. 14, 2016—Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Tennessee’s largest non-profit law firm, announced today that Julie Watson Lampley will serve as the 2017 chair of the Campaign for Equal Justice, an annual initiative that raises funds for Legal Aid Society.

Lampley is an attorney and assistant practice group leader for the health care regulatory and transactions group at Butler Snow in Nashville. She also serves on Butler Snow’s Executive Committee. She will work with others across Legal Aid Society’s 48-county service area to raise over $800,000 to provide access to justice.

Lampley’s practice is focused on health care law, commercial contracting, and mergers and acquisitions. She represents pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies and institutional health care providers, both nationally and internationally.

Lampley has been included in the “Best Lawyers in America” list for health care law, and also named “Best of the Bar” by the Nashville Business Journal. She has served as a board member of the Nashville Health Care Council and is an alumna of the Council’s Fellows Program; a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association.

Lampley graduated first in her class at the University of Tennessee College of Law where she was a member of the Order of the Coif. She received her B.M.Ed. with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi.
