Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands (LASMTC) is seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused Fund Development Manager to lead and support fundraising efforts across its eight offices in Middle Tennessee. This role will enhance the organization’s mission by developing strategies to secure donations, expand donor relationships, and build community awareness. The Fund Development Manager will work closely with regional office staff, organizational leadership, and stakeholders to diversify and grow LASMTC’s financial resources.

Responsibilities Include:

• Create and execute a comprehensive fund development plan that aligns with LASMTC’s mission and strategic priorities.
• Develop targeted fundraising initiatives to support each of LASMTC’s eight offices, ensuring regional needs are met while maintaining organizational cohesion.
• Identify and cultivate new sources of revenue, including individual donations, corporate sponsorships, planned giving, and community partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with individual, corporate, and community donors, enhancing donor engagement across Middle Tennessee.
• Implement a donor stewardship program that strengthens ongoing relationships and increases donor retention.
• Lead the planning and execution of fundraising events, including annual campaigns, community engagement events, and awareness-building activities.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage donation tracking, budgeting, and reporting of fundraising activities.
• Partner with the communications team to develop cohesive, impactful fundraising messages across social media, newsletters, emails, and other digital channels.
• Design campaigns that increase donor engagement, grow community awareness, and showcase LASMTC’s work and success stories.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nonprofit fundraising or development, with experience in multi-site or regional support preferred.
• Proven success in securing major gifts, cultivating long-term donor relationships, and executing successful fundraising events.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in relationship-building and public speaking.
• Proficiency with donor management software, Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.
• Familiarity with legal aid or social justice organizations is a plus
