Family Centered Legal Services Project Manager
Location: Nashville
Salary: $59,000 – $71,000
The FCLS Project Manager will oversee our Family Centered Legal Services Grant firm-wide. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating both the internal and client-facing aspects of the project. In addition, this position provides legal representation to income-eligible clients in civil cases related to consumer, housing, and/or varying areas of legal practice. The Project Manager oversees regional partner engagement and sustainability activities, monitors all project outputs, and communicates with program partners on their roles and responsibilities. This position works closely with leadership and staff within LASMTC and partner organizations to ensure outcomes are fulfilled. They manage budgets, educate and build networks, and coordinate outreach to community organizations and eligible individuals. This position is funded in part by and in collaboration with, one or more grants. Personnel must adhere to goals and outcomes detailed in the grant contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and communicate project work plans, budgets, timelines, and documentation of clearly defined scopes and
objectives, in coordination with LAS and relevant partner organization leadership. - Oversee the implementation of all casework and outreach activities, including partner engagement and sustainability
activities. - Supervises program staff and volunteers as necessary for the effective development and implementation of the
program. - Monitor and evaluate all outputs and communicate with each partner on their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure proper reporting within the case management system, including the development of new reports, if
necessary, and analyze derived data. - Establish and maintain working relationships with community organizations, governmental entities, and corporations.
- Monitor budget objectives, reconcile invoices, and track deliverables, in collaboration with partner organizations.
- Facilitate monitoring visits and compile support documentation from all partners.
- Travel to multiple counties within the service area.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as social work, public administration, or legal studies. Master’s Degree in a related field is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in a law office, court, legal aid organization, social service agency, or a closely related setting is essential.
- Strong experience in client service, particularly with diverse and low-income populations.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Basic proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office(Outlook, Word and Excel).
- A driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
